Performance Coach
Mackenzie grew up with a love for movement, playing a variety of sports before focusing on volleyball, where she competed at the University of Saskatchewan for 5 years. This is where she got to witness first hand and appreciate how sport specific training in the gym can enhance performance on the court (ice/turf/track). With that foundation, she’s built a career helping others discover their own strength and potential through fitness. Mackenzie spent three years as the head trainer at a rowing studio, and most recently worked as a personal trainer and group fitness instructor at a local gym in Saskatoon, SK.
Now living in Nanaimo while pursuing a Bachelor of Education at Vancouver Island University, Mackenzie is passionate about the idea of movement as medicine. She believes in meeting clients where they’re at, celebrating progress big and small, and building confidence through sustainable, fun training.
What drew Mackenzie to Prime is their commitment to clients’ overall health and long-term success – helping people live healthier, pain free lives on and off the gym floor. Her energy, experience, and supportive approach make her a trainer who’s as invested in your success as you are.
