BSc Kinesiology, Performance Coach

Benjamin is a recent graduate from the Kinesiology program at Vancouver Island University in Nanaimo, British Columbia and joined prime in 2023 to further pursue his passion for training and fitness. Prior to, and during his education, he realized that physical activity is vital to one’s mental, physical, and spiritual health, and that every person no matter the age, ability, or experience level should be able to reap the benefits of an active lifestyle.

Being born and raised in Nanaimo, Benjamin has had the chance to grow up with the laid back, island lifestyle but with lots of physical activity. He has been an active member in the Nanaimo sport community for many years, with experience in a variety of sports including basketball, volleyball, soccer, golf, and football. Along with his playing experience, Benjamin also has coaching experience of several high-school and club level sports teams.

Benjamin, with a passion for fitness, hopes to utilize his playing and coaching experience at Prime Performance to create a fun, safe, and exciting environment for physical activity within the community.

Benjamin hopes to continue to pursue his education surrounding physical activity, and to continue to increase his knowledge and experience to better serve the diverse clientele that make up the Prime Performance family.
